about the people
Prints are available for all photos found here at four different sizes/prices. They are printed locally here in Austin by a well-established printer and I make sure all prints are of the best quality before they are distributed.
In terms of the prints themselves, they are printed at 300dpi with an Epson Stylus Pro 9800 printer using Epson Ultrachrome inks on Moab Entrada 300gsm Fine Art paper.
Everything I find to be special about these photos I've taken is a result of the subjects themselves. For every print sold, I will donate $25 to someone on Kiva.org, ideally in the country where the print was purchased (but this may not always be possible). I may also try to eventually list each person/group whom money is lent to on the photo page of the print that was purchased.
Until then (if you're curious) you can go to my lender page to see who's received loans: Facing Asia Lender Page. If this is your first time hearing about Kiva, please go check it out. They are a micro lending site whose mission is to connect people, through lending, for the sake of alleviating poverty.
If you have any questions about print sizing, quality or the status of your order, please feel free to contact me and I'll reply to your inquiry within a day or two.
